Donavan received his Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University Of Utah College Of Pharmacy in 1995. His past work experience consists of being a retail pharmacist at Albertsons, Director of Pharmacy at Gunnison Valley Hospital, and Director of Pharmacy at Central Valley Medical Center. While at Gunnison Valley Hospital he sat on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee and was an active member of the Gunnison Valley Hospice program. In addition, Donavan was an adjunct faculty member at the Snow College Richfield Allied Health department for 6 years where he developed and taught the pharmacy technician program. In 2005 he started his current position as the Director of Pharmacy at the Wayne Community Health Center in Bicknell, Utah. In 2007 Donavan received the Stephen D. Ratcliff award from the Association of Utah Community Health Centers in recognition of his efforts as being a positive visionary leader. From spring 2012 to 2014 Donavan served 2 years as a 340B Peer to Peer Mentor with the American Pharmacists Association Federal Contracts and Grants. During this time he received the Peer All Star Award and Peer Spirit Award. Donavan sits on the Apexus 340B Prime Vendor Program Advisory Council for Federally Qualified Health Centers. As a Director of Pharmacy, Donavan has helped spearhead the chronic pain management program at Wayne Community Health Center. This program received recognition in 2010 from the Sevier Valley Substance Abuse Coalition for their outstanding efforts in the fight against prescription drug abuse. He sits on the P&T committee and is an active member of the clinical multidisciplinary team and Emergency room team. During his employment with Wayne Community Health Center, he has helped implement and manage the acute coronary treatment program including the usage of thrombolytics in a rural clinic 60 miles away from the nearest hospital and 160 miles from the nearest acute cardiac center. In 2018 and 2019 Donavan and Zackery Taylor, PharmD. at Wayne Community Health Center became the first open door telepharmacy-retail pharmacy for a remote dispensing site located in Green River, Utah.
Zack grew up in Fremont and graduated from Wayne High School in 2012. Upon graduating Zack received the Claudia Austin Scholarship from Wayne Community Health Center; which helped to fund his undergraduate studies. Zack chose to pursue a degree in pharmacy with the intention of returning to Wayne County to give back to the people that have helped and supported him. Zack received his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration degrees from Roseman University in 2018. While attending school Zack worked in multiple Walmart pharmacies. He likes to team rope, ride horses, go on Rzr rides, and spend time with his family. Zack is excited to start his career at Wayne Community Health Center.
Jenny earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with Roseman University in 2010. While attending she was a founding chapter member of the local National Community Pharmacists Association. Her hard work and dedication to the program earned her the Partners in Pharmacy scholarship as well as the Outstanding Member of the Year award. She started her career at Wayne Community Health Center in 2014 as a clinical pharmacist, and has further extensive pharmaceutical experience providing services for several pharmacies including Olympus, Novoceutics, Fresh Market, Harmon’s Dry Creek, and Diabetes Specialty Center. She views every day as a welcome challenge in tailoring pharmacy services to better accommodate the needs of her community while providing a convenient and welcoming environment. Jenny’s commitment to her clients and coworkers extends to having current pharmaceutical students obtain rotational experience. Her supervision and guidance help further their educational experiences and better prepare future pharmacists in the area. The mother of three boys, she is always up for a new challenge. She loves hiking, flying, reading, painting, classical Rome and learning about pretty much everything.
