A native of Utah, Dr. Daren C. Cole spent his growing up years in the Salt Lake City area. He attended the University of Utah where he received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology; thereafter attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine earning the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. At graduation, Dr. Cole was the faculty nominated and distinguished recipient of one the highest honors given, the Excellence in Clinical Dentistry Award, for demonstrating superior clinical merit among his student peers. Dr. Cole is trained in and dedicated to the clinically proven and latest advancements in cosmetic, implant and restorative dentistry. He keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies, techniques and advancements in dentistry, including the innovative use of digital 3-D radiology and intra-oral imaging. He is a graduate of the renowned White Cap Institute of Dental Implantology residency series and has served as an evaluating dentist for the research and development division of Ultradent Products, Inc., a worldwide distributor of quality, affordable dental products. In addition to his clinical position with Wayne Community Health Centers, Dr. Cole owns and operates a private dental practice in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Cole has an attending appointment as adjunct faculty at Roseman University’s College of Dental Medicine where he gives personal instruction, training, and supervision to the dental residents and students at the South Jordan, Utah campus. Prior to his position at Roseman University, Dr. Cole supervised dental students under the rank of Adjunct Assistant Professor of the School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Cole also holds an Adjunct Faculty and Pre-Dental Advisor position at Salt Lake Community College, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Cole is a longstanding member of the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, and the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Cole in alumni and a former officer of the nationally recognized Psi Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Cole enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children. He enjoys traveling, photography and relaxing to music. Dr. Cole is active in his church and community; he is also an avid skier and golfer, and enjoys most all outdoor activities.
Dr. Sears was born in Utah but raised in Idaho. He loves everything outdoors, as long as there is a motor attached to it: Water skiing, ATV’s, shooting, hunting, but most of all snowmobiling. He grew up working as a dishwasher, doing construction, as well as farming. He attended Dental school at MWU University in Illinois. After graduating he attended a residency program through NYU Lutheran in South Jordan Utah, which allowed him to expand his experience in esthetics, wisdom teeth extraction, implants, root canal therapy, and sedation dentistry. He is married and has one little boy and one on the way.
Since Dr. James Corning was young boy growing up in Lincoln, NE he has always wanted to be a dentist. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in geography later received his D.D.S. from The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry for 34 years in Tucson, AZ. He and his wife, Evelyn have five children and recently moved to Escalante where Evelyn is from. Dr. Corning is happy to back in beautiful Southern Utah.
Hi! I am Shawn Parkin. My wife Vonnie and I have five children, four married and one still at home. We also have 4 beautiful grandkids. We have enjoyed living and working in Panguitch, Utah since 1999, and raising our kids here. We enjoy camping and fishing and I also enjoy skiing and golf. Professionally, I did my undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, then attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, and did a General Practice Residency at the University of Utah. Since then I regularly take continuing education courses to keep myself current. I’m grateful for the opportunity to live and work in this wonderful area.
Dr. Ben Eggen was born & raised in Minnesota where he grew up hunting and fishing. After high school he joined the Air Force and became a Pararescueman. While enlisted Ben served in Afghanistan, Iraq and performed multiple civilian rescue operations including the 2010 Haiti earthquake. He completed bachelor’s (exercise science) degree from Montana State University and a dental doctorate degree from Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona. Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, hunting, fishing, skiing and traveling.
